Description
Rico R.S.A., a Spanish toy company founded in 1922, manufactured this yellow and red “Campsa” Oil Tanker Truck Toy in the 1930s. Made of lithographed tin, with pressed tinplate wheels, the truck featured a keyed clockwork motor. Campsa is an acronym for Compañía Arrendataria del Monopolio del Petróleo, S.A., Spain’s state-owned petroleum products company, which operated between 1927 and 1992. Image is 900px wide.
